In today’s world, it’s typical to zone out on various screens to avoid the mental, emotional, or physical pain you might be in. Your phone, tablet, computer, or television may offer an “escape” from reality but they can make mental health issues worse.

Human beings are overwhelmed with stress, a flood of too much information, and too little real connection – not enough with each other and not enough with our planet.

It’s not always easy to cope with the debilitating symptoms of depression – what we refer to as Gray Mind. It is considered a public health crisis by the World Health Organization.

Depression can derail your entire life and make you feel like you’re fighting a losing battle.

  • Unexplained feelings of anger or frustration
  • High-risk behaviors

I would have to mull over the Gray Mind etc. but the idea does not speak to me and I have lived with depression for a lot of my life. I was hospitalized with Clinical Depression many years ago and it still hangs around. I am thankful for God’s support, his unending love, my family and friends who were sooooo supportive!! I remain on medication today as I tried once to go off the med’s but that was a huge mistake.
