Have you ever been faced with a decision that was so hard to make… you just decided to “go with your gut”?

Well, as it turns out — there’s more to a gut instinct than just “intuition.”

Actually, it all has to do with the health of your physical gut.

Now, you know a healthy, balanced gut means having better digestion…

But recent studies show it could also affect everything from how motivated you feel, to how well your intuition works.1

That’s incredible!

In fact, doctors and researchers have been calling this phenomenon the “gut-mind axis” for years.2

Simply put: when your gut is running at 100%, you make better decisions.

And that’s important, because in a given day, you could make up to 35,000 decisions.3

Now, that seems like a lot… but most of those decisions practically make themselves.

(After all, when you’re thirsty — you get a glass of water. It’s that easy.)

But they’re not all that easy… Thankfully One Doctor Has Made A Video To Help

Because some of your choices are “big ones.

(Things like buying a new house, accepting a new job, or planning an expensive trip.)

Those decisions can’t always be based on “cold hard facts.” After all, there’s lots to consider — including your feelings — when you have a big decision ahead of you.

So sometimes, you might need to follow your gut instinct

But how can you know if your decisions are being helped by a healthy gut… or not?

It’s simple. Do a “gut instinct check” from Dr. Steven Gundry:

Dr. G’s “Gut Instinct Check”

  1. When you have to make decisions, do you feel stressed out about them?
  2. Do you feel so nervous that it sends you on a few extra trips to the bathroom?
  3. Are you overcome by cravings for junk food, or the need to “stress eat”?
  4. When you weigh your options… does your head start to ache or feel “fuzzy”?
  5. Do you feel nervous butterflies after you’ve made a decision?

If you scored 3 or more, your gut health could be out of whack. And if that’s the case, your decision-making could be compromised, too!

So, to get in the right “state of mind,” you can work on what scientists call… your “state of gut.”

You can start by making sure you’re getting plenty of probiotics, and avoid eating lectin-heavy foods like whole wheat and tomatoes.

After all, when you love your gut, it’ll love you back…

And that means you can rest easy when it comes to making those big decisions.

P.S. If you’re worried that your gut health could be compromising your decision-making abilities, don’t worry too much.

After all, studies show that going with your gut instinct often leads to better decisions than overthinking your options.4

It all comes down to trusting yourself, and of course, taking care of your gut health as best you can…

Of course, I’ll be here to help you out with the second part — but trusting yourself is up to you. Hopefully, it helps to know Dr. G’s in your corner 🙂
