Woman Wearing Black Face Mask

A KFC customer’s stomach lining is burnt after the restaurant accidentally served her disinfectant instead of water.

The woman asked an employee at a KFC in Suzhou, China for a cup of ice water on March 29.

She said after taking one sip she noticed the taste of disinfectant.

But unsure of whether it was just her imagination, the woman took another sip.

Still tasting the disinfectant, she asked her friend to smell but the drink, but didn’t smell anything. So she then tasted the drink and confirmed the woman’s suspicion that it tasted like disinfectant.

The employee who gave the woman the drink then admitted that she had accidentally mixed the water with disinfectant.

She went to the hospital after feeling pain in her throat and stomach. She also experienced severe abdominal cramps.

Doctors diagnosed the woman with acute erosive gastritis, a condition in which acid rips through the stomach lining, which causes bleeding and stomach ulcers.

The KFC initially offered to pay for the victim’s medical treatment. However, the woman wants them to also compensate for her loss of salary and costs she endured during her period sick leave.

According to reports, the restaurant tried to get the woman to sign a non-disclosure agreement to stop er from posting about the incident online.

  1. Disinfectant has a smell , couldn’t she tell by the smell that it wasn’t water? Why did she drink it?

  2. She wanted to become wealthy. It was either that or have a relative shot by police!!

  3. How nice of KFC to offer to pay her medical bills. Hopefully, the employee was fired and KFC is sued big time. How dumb do you have to be to give a custom water mixed with disinfcant?
