A Toronto woman won nearly $50 million in the lottery after she used numbers that came to her husband in a dream he had 20 years ago.
After winning, Deng Pravatoudom told Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. officials that the numbers she chose for the December 1, 2020 Lotto Max drawing were the same numbers her husband had dreamed about almost 2 decades ago.
The winning ticket earned Deng a $47.1 million jackpot.
As Deng was laid off from her job last Spring due to the Covid-19 pandemic, she said the money is a huge relief.
“With this money, I will be capable of helping my children out more, whatever they want I will be able to buy it for them, a car and new clothes,” she said.
