A motorist in Newburgh, New York was arrested three separate times on March 7, twice by the same officer, according to New York State Police.

State police from the Montgomery barracks initially arrested 29-year-old Robert Radek just before 8 a.m. on the 7th of March for a vehicle and traffic law violation while he was driving a 1994 Jeep Cherokee.

The cop who pulled Radek over discovered that he was driving with a suspended New York driver’s license and was also in possession of crack cocaine, according to police.

Police charged Radek with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and issued a court appearance ticket for April 19.

Then, at 2:30 pm, Radek was arrested a second time while driving a different vehicle, this time a 2007 Honda Civic. What is even more shocking is that the same officer made the arrest the second time!

The second stop was for a vehicle and traffic law violation, and the officer once again discovered that Radek was in possession of crack cocaine, this time along with 1.3 grams of heroin.

Radek was once again charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and issued a court appearance ticket for April 19.

At 5:45 pm, Radek was arrested for a third time. This time he was back in the 1994 Jeep Cherokee. He was stopped for multiple vehicle and traffic law violations, this time by a different cop who made the first two arrests. This officer determined that Radek was impaired by drugs.

The officer charged Radek with driving while impaired, as well as first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator — a class E felony.

Radek was released on a court appearance ticket for April 20.

  1. So why wasn’t he taken into custody the first time. No license. That should deserve a trip to the station along with the drugs.

  2. New York has dumbass bail laws. In my state I would have cuffed and stuffed his ass to jail.
